Early Childhood Care and Education Adjunct
Please note the following information regarding this position:
- May be required to teach high school students
- May require teaching on or off campus throughout our service delivery area (Muscogee County, Stewart County, Quitman County, Chattahoochee County, Harris County, and Talbot County)
- May require travel
- Coordinates internship requirements for students with help from the program director
- Visits multiple internship sites to ensure compliance and student success
- Facilitates securing uniforms for students
- Meets with students to discuss progress/needs for internship
- Collaborates with program director weekly on student progress
- Assists instructor in maintaining an effective learning environment
- Completes documentation of student progress
- Perform various types of clerical tasks to assist instructor
- Prepare materials, exhibits, equipment and demonstrations as needed
- A master’s degree from an accredited institution in the teaching discipline (i.e. Early Childhood Care & Education, Elementary Education, Education focused, etc.) *and* One (1) to Three (3) years of experience in the field of education.
- A master’s degree from an accredited institution with a concentration in the teaching discipline (minimum 18 graduate semester hours or 27 graduate quarter hours in Early Childhood or the field of education *and* Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the field of education.
- A doctorate or PhD in Education
Salary/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
