Student Affairs Assistant – Information Desk
Columbus Technical College is seeking an individual to serve as a full time Student Affairs Assistant. This position is responsible for performing administrative and clerical duties in support of Student Affairs while maintaining the main Information Desk for the college outside of the Student Affairs Offices. This position is full-time/non-exempt.
Responsibilities:
- Provides secretarial and clerical duties in support of Student Affairs
- Provide quality customer service to both internal and external customers
- Directs visitors to appropriate offices
- Assists students and staff with admissions process
- Assists with Campus Tours for student groups, as needed
- Keep abreast of college deadlines and important information
- Answer community inquiries from email and phone calls
- Answers application processing questions for new students
- Processes new student applications
- Assist with Registration functions
- Assists with student issues with registration, advisement and academics
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent *and* One (1) year of work related experience
Salary/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include state holidays, annual leave, sick leave, State of Georgia Retirement, Health and Flexible Benefits Program.
